SAY IT AIN'T SO.....MARY-MARY & REALITY TV?

SAY IT AIN'T SO!!!, is what many folks will be saying as the word travels about Gospel duo "Mary Mary" new reality TV show. The new reality show following the lives of Mary Mary will air after The Braxton's Family Values on Thursday nights. WE network brings Mary Mary to the network in efforts to continue building their urban audience. The show will premiere in March 2012, the show will cover their tour, the pregnancy stages of Erica (whose expecting her baby in February), making music, and family life. There are soooo many reality shows that are full of drama, ignorance, and immaturity. As I watched the new episodes of Love & Hip-Hop with my teenage daughter, I instantly became irritated. I told her where are the reality shows that show black women running their own business, serving as positive role models, or powerful black women. Where are the shows that would inspire young girls to become something, besides the girlfriend of a rapper or wife of a basketball player. PLEASE!! Iwill be the first to do a review on the show when it airs.  Erica & Tina have become modern gospel pop stars where they have an opportunity to use their position to share Jesus Christ with the world and change lives. Because it is Reality TV where ratings are important to maintain show position, I anticipate entertaining moments, exaggerated disagreements, and drama. Since most of the gospel community are already fans of Basketball Wives, Real Housewives of Atlanta, Love & Hip-Hop, The Braxton's, let's show the same passion for Mary Mary. Look out WE TV.....HERE COMES THE KINGDOM!

IS DANCING A SIN? THANK GOD I'M FREE

 Recently, I saw a cartoon picture with Jesus talking to a teenage boy on a bench, and the caption was interesting. It said something like "You thought that was a sin, boy were you stressing out". This caption made me think about DANCING, and how so many believers think it is a sin. Dancing is a form of exercise, it changes your mood, and actually enjoyable if you allow it. The Bible never mentioned where dancing was a sin! Now there are forms of dance where the intent of the heart is seductive and sexual that can bring about a certain movements that are motive driven. I always say, David danced out of his clothes, and he wasn't a male dancer (lol). Thankfully, I am liberated and free from the bondage of Satan that keeps so many saints away from the things they love to do. However, the religious rules of man have kept shackles on mindsets and people live there lives based on the Simon Cowell's of the church. But, whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8: 36). 

The video below is a vision by a friend of mine name Lonie. God gave her this vision after she got saved in 1998 and asked God where do the saved people go? And to her discovery there was nowhere for them to go and dance. The vision has manifested and will soon be in the Downtown Detroit area. So, the saints will have a place to go after work, on the weekends, when family come to town, etc. ALCOHOL FREE, NO SMOKING, WITH FOOD, BEVERAGES, AND DANCING!! so glad I am apart of the vision! GUILTY YEAH RIGHT!!

Fans of Michael Jackson stood out in the streets to celebrate as they heard the verdict "Guilty of Involuntary Manslaughter", while LaToya Jackson screams echo the court room. But, is Dr.Conrad Murray really the guilty one, or are others to blame as well?. Money, fame, and power has overshadowed the addition that Michael Jackson had for years. The same addiction which his family was aware of and never intervened to get him the help he needed. Don't get me wrong Dr. Conrad should pay for his part in the death of MJ. But as we all know when someone of Michael Jackson's status speaks, things are ignored, unreported, and overlooked. Theories of his death has circulated that it was set-up by the Illuminati, because Michael Jackson was going to expose people during his This Is It tour. Regardless to the what or who caused his death, there are several people that are negligent. Over the years of his life, this could not have been the first time that these drugs were used in his lifetime. Unfortunately, this is not the first case in the entertainment industry where drugs played a role in a famous persons death. I am a big fan of Michael Jackson and he created music with lasting substance that can transition to all generations. My favorite Michael Jackson song is "Rock My World".  What's yours?
