10 Years in Music Ministry

Well Ladies & Gents...it's almost here! The Live Video Recording in celebration of my 10 years of doing music. I never thought in a million years that I would be doing this. I remember at age 16 saying, "I was going to sing my way to Capital Records, and be a Singer". I just remember seeing that building in some movie and it said Capital Records on it. Not sure what artist were signed to Capital Records at the time, but I spoke it out my mouth.

God had plans for me, I am not at Capital Records yet (is there still a Capital Records?) hmm. Anyway, his plan has blown my mind and has been most rewarding. I am looking forward to the next chapter after my concert on August 10th. I know God has something in store, just can't wait to "see what the ends gon' be" (as my Grandma use to say).

As I look back over the 10 years, I reflect on 2 people that are still with me when I started. My husband and my guitar player "Fingertips" (Jay Caver). My husband pushed me to get my first demo completed with 3 songs and Jay was on my first full album (You Visit Me Not).

I have learned a lot over the last 10 years about music, ministry, and business; all 3 go together. After the 10th, I am focusing on completing my proposal for my dissertation and finishing my last 3 classes, so I can become DR. DAY. I will stay in the loop of things, however TUNNEL VISION IS IN FULL EFFECT.

Thanks for your support over the 10yrs....and stay tuned, we'll be back after these messages!
